project work + concert
project work was quite fun, but basically wasted a lot of time.
but at least we r clear about what to do.

the three pieces were awesome. especially the last piece where every instrument played to their potential. the rise and downs...
love the string instruments the most! the double bass played a lot too!
the conductor was good. it's no wonder he's the music director.
the soloists were amazing. i liked the cello the most. the soloist for the cello was given a lot of spotlight. so she soloed a lot. and she played it so coolly. i wish i could play like that too! the violin soloist was good too, and he swayed a lot.the whole orchestra was very coordinated.
i want to play the double bass like them! i learnt something from actually.
i learnt the way to pluck the strings while holding the bow. not that i duno how to[the way i did was the same way as one of double bass players], but their way looks easier to do. lols, coming to think of it, i did try that before but wasn't used to it.
the harp was beautiful. the melody and everything.
lols. i still rmb every time when the cello soloist started playing, my body was always drawn in towards the orchestra.
teresa is in indonesia now! mengying is in hongkong now [i think, not sure which date]!
